Password
- At least 12 characters.
- Mix of letters, numbers, and a symbol.
- Cannot match your last 5 passwords.
Click Change Password to update it.
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor (2FA) adds a second step at sign-in.
- Go to Profile, then Security.
- Click Enable 2FA.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (1Password, Authy, Google Authenticator).
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
Save the backup codes somewhere safe. You will need them if you lose your phone.
Active sessions
Under Active Sessions you can see where you are signed in and sign out other devices.
Sign-in alerts
Email alerts on new device sign-ins are on by default. Turn them off in notification preferences.
Tips
- Use a password manager.
- Turn on 2FA, even on small accounts.
- Sign out devices you no longer use.
