Using the AI Assistant
DigitalCore includes a built-in assistant that answers questions about your data, drafts written summaries, and helps you build response options.
Open the assistant
Click the assistant button in the top bar from any page. It picks up the page context (current engagement, period, view).
What you can ask
- Find a number. “What was my margin on Acme last month?”
- Compare. “Which three engagements have the worst capacity utilisation this quarter?”
- Summarise. “Give me a one-paragraph summary of Acme for last month.”
- Plan. “Show me three options to recover Acme’s margin.”
How answers are produced
The assistant reads your data through DigitalCore. It does not see other organisations. Numbers in answers come from the same totals you see in the Pulse, Portfolio, and Engagement pages.
Tips
- Be specific about period and engagement when you can.
- Ask follow-up questions in the same chat. Context carries over.
- Use the “Insert into report” action to drop an answer into an executive summary draft.
Limits
- The assistant cannot change configuration. It can only read and draft.
- It cannot delete records.
- It will say so if it cannot answer with the data available.
