DigitalCore connects with the tools you already use. This section covers the four main types of connection.
AI assistant connections (MCP)
MCP is the standard DigitalCore uses to expose tools to AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, and ChatGPT. With it, you can ask your AI assistant questions about your data and run actions without leaving the chat.
- Free MCP — playbooks, KPI explainers, and a service health check. No account needed.
- DigitalCore MCP — read and write your live data. Includes API key management.
Data import
- Excel / CSV import — backfill or bulk-update plans and actuals using the round-trip template.
Native integrations
- QuickBooks — continuous Finance actuals from your accounting system.
- ServiceNow — continuous Performance actuals (incidents, SLA results) from ITSM.
Notifications and reports
- Notification channels — email (with per-user subscriptions, distribution lists, and digests), Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
- Slack — reports and alerts to a Slack channel.
- Microsoft Teams — reports and alerts to a Teams channel.
