Correlations
Correlations is the pattern view. It scans across the four areas (Finance, Performance, Capacity, AI Usage) and surfaces relationships that matter, both expected and surprising.
What gets detected
| Signal type | Example |
|---|---|
| Margin pressure | Cost up, revenue flat, so margin contracts. |
| Cost escalation | Vendor spend trending well above plan. |
| SLA breach | A KPI crosses the penalty threshold. |
| Capacity overrun | Hours above plan with no scope change. |
| AI budget overrun | Token cost trending past the monthly cap. |
| Cross-area | Capacity up and KPI down: a quality issue, not an effort issue. |
Each signal carries a confidence score, a severity (critical, high, medium, low), and a recommended playbook.
How to read this page
The page is grouped by signal type and engagement. For each pattern you see:
- A short summary of what is correlated.
- The underlying metrics with sparklines.
- Recommended playbooks.
- A button to open a decision case if you want to act on it.
Why this matters
Most reporting tools show you what is happening in each area separately. Correlations show what is happening between them, which is usually where the real story lives.
